“Stoke-on-Trent City Council has commissioned North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust to provide drug and alcohol inpatient detoxification for many years as part of our Community Drug and Alcohol Service. During this time, these services have helped support people at some of the most vulnerable times of their lives and it is evident they are committed to achieving the best outcomes for people using the service. As a local authority, we have built a solid relationship with the Trust to ensure we can meet our shared goal of supporting people to begin their recoveries from substance misuse to help them move forward with their lives. The Trust has also built positive relationships with other key agencies and has established the New Beginnings service user group, to ensure people with lived experience are central to developments within the services. We are really pleased to continue this partnership to provide vital support to people in their recovery journeys.”
