My detox has been controlled and most importantly I’ve felt safe.
I cannot recommend the Edward Myers Unit highly enough. From first entering the unit I was met with smiling friendly staff. My detox has been controlled and most importantly I’ve felt safe.
During my stay they haven’t been able to do enough for me and I’ve also been able to talk to them openly and honestly.
The unit also has a family room, ladies lounge, kitchen and social room. There is also a garden that we can use for exercise.
I had my own personal room which was comfortable and clean. The unit also has a family room, ladies lounge, patient kitchen and social room with a pool table. There is also a garden outside that we can use for fresh air and exercise.
I have managed to socialise when I have felt like it and to also have some reflection time in my room when I have wanted some privacy.
For the first time in a long time I am hopeful about my future and I’ll leave with a positive attitude and a fresh outlook. Thank you to everyone involved in my care.
